Monsoon

Children made colourful umbrellas with vegetable printing.


Garba Day

Garba Day was celebrated on Tuesday, 9th October. Children were dressed
in garba outfits and had fun dancing to garba music.


Dusshera Celebration

Dusshera was celebrated on Tuesday, 16th October by eating jalebis and papadi.

Our creative parents sent colourful drawings/models/poems & songs related
to the cleanliness theme.


Trip to Akota Garden

Children went to Akota Garden on Friday, 22nd September. They played
on the slide, swing, see-saw and with other toys. They had lots of fun.

Independence Day

Independence Day was celebrated on Tuesday, 14th August.
Children came dressed in white, orange & green outfits.  They sang
the national anthem & carried their tri-coloured balloons home.


Parsi New Year

Parsi New Year was celebrated on Thrusday, 17th August by eating sweet Parsi rawa.


Eid

Eid was celebrated on Tuesday, 21st August. We enjoyed our delicious Sheer khurma.


Rakshabandhan

Rakshabandhan celebrated on Tuesday, 8th August. Children tied,
rakhis on each other and ate pedas.

Orientation for Parents

We welcome our new parents for an orientation on Monday, 11th June.


School reopens

We look forward to welcoming our new & continuing children on
Wednesday, 13th June for the academic year 2018-19.

 

March 2018

Healthy Eating Week:

The children were introduced to different tastes and made aware of
 healthy eating practices through the healthy eating week
from 12th to 16th March.


Chef Day:
(Parent Toddler Group)

Mothers and toddlers wore their chef hats and made bhel & different types
sandwiches. They had a fun party on the 20th March.


Parenting Workshop:

An interactive Parenting Skills & Behaviour Shaping  workshop was
conducted by Mrs. Kamal Patel for the parents on Friday, 23rd March.


Role Reversal Days:

Mothers planned and conducted fun & creative learning activities for  toddlers
on Tuesday, 27th & Thursday 29th March.

Pre school events

 

Plant a seed and watch it grow:

Joy Train Ride, Tuesday, 9th  January
Children enjoyed the ride, looking at the animals, birds and colourful flowers
in the garden.


Field Trip

The preschool visited The Lukshmi Vilas Palace on 
Friday, 9th February.

 

The children visited the magnificent  Darbar Hall and
the courtyard with fountains.


 Professional Photography Session:

We had a two-day professional photography session for the preschool 
as well as the parent-toddler group on 15th & 16th February.
For the preschool group photograph, the dress code was Denim & White.
For the parent-toddler group photograph, the dress code was Mom & Me.


Visit to a Farm

(Parent Toddler Group)

We visited a farm in Atladara on 22nd February. The children had fun on 
slides, trampolines and tricycles. They enjoyed games and delicious snacks.

Thursday, 11th January

Children made kites and ate til chikki and mamra laddoos and took the
kite home


Republic Day Celebration,
Wednesday, 24th January

Republic Day was celebrated with a Fancy Dress Day
The theme was United Nations (Costumes of the World)

Children dressed in costumes from India, China, Japan, Bhutan, Myanmar,
The Middle East, USA, Africa, Spain, Mexico, Italy, Greece & Scotland.


Parents’ Workshop

Wednesday, 31st January

Topic: ‘Good Communication a Stepping Stone to Good Parenting’. Conducted
by: Mrs. Ami Patel (Therapist & Counselor)

 

December 2017

Yellow Day

Children wore yellow outfits on the 1st of December. We mixed colours to get
new colours. We also transferred yellow chana dal from one bowl to another.


Parents’ Workshop

On 6th December Mrs. Kamal Patel presented an interactive and
informative talk on ‘Understanding & Managing Our Children’s Behaviour’.


There was a follow up session on the 13th of December in which parents
spoke about the strategies they learnt during the workshop and how they
implemented them.


Christmas Celebration

We celebrated Christmas with a party for the Parent-Toddler group on the
21st of December and for the preschool on the 22nd of December.

We wore the Christmas colors and enjoyed singing carols, playing games
and eating cake. We took our gifts home.

 

November 2017

Red Day 8th Nov

Children dressed up in red outfits. They enjoyed doing different activities
related to the color red.


Children’s Day 14th Nov

We celebrated Children’s Day with a ‘Rainbow’ theme. Children dressed
in different colors of the rainbow .They did different activities related
to the theme.


Blue Day 22nd Nov

All the kids looked lovely in their blue outfits. They enjoyed doing art work
and playing games related to the theme.


Green Day 29th Nov

This was also a Nature Day. The children dressed in green and painted
trees, did leaf printing and wore garlands made of leaves.

Parenting Workshop

Mrs. Kamal Patel conducted a workshop for parents on Tuesday, 10th October
The topic was:How the early environment & experiences shape the rapidly
developing brain. How we can maximize the brain’s potential.


Diwali Celebration

Diwali was celebrated on Friday, 13th October.

Children were dressed in festive clothes.

We did rangolis and lit diyas. The children took their decorated diyas home.
